Andrew Wynne

Works are created for exhibition and commission. I like to create by freely experimenting, whatever the medium, often in mosaic, batik and other variations of resist, printed and discharge dyed textiles.

Selected exhibitions include shortlisted entries in ‘Art In Nature’ in Wallsworth Hall, Gloucestershire and commissioned works for the National Trust and English Nature.

Inspiration comes from a variety of sources and whilst some works are conventional depictions of the natural world, others are arrived at using a more intuitive and spontaneous approach, responding to memories, dreams, lyrics, and conversations.

My practice includes teaching and facilitating. I have vast experience of working with all ages and abilities, ranging from primary to sixth form, adult education, centres for people with learning difficulties, university and community settings and I offer one to one tuition.
